Since January 2022, Rashmona Foundation has been operating a shelter home titled “Rashmona Apon Ghor” for Homeless kids & elderly people in Dhaka city. The goal of this project is to rescue destitute young children and elderly homeless people from their existing precarious environment and reintegrate them in a safe and secure place to live in a healthy environment with proper food assistance, education, medical assistance and their daily needs.

From January 2022 to December 2023, we have rescued about 30+ children and 90+ elderly   homeless people. Among them we have reunited 18 children with their families including 5 girls so far.
