Rashmona Foundation Winter Clothing Support

Rashmona Foundation Winter Clothing Support

The months of winter, although highly popular in the country for its agricultural benefits, bring their own share of problems, especially for the underprivileged communities of our country. With the rapidly decreasing temperatures, accompanied by the skyrocketing prices of warm clothing supplies, winter proves to be a rather unfavourable time for the poor. To combat this issue, Rashmona Foundation has introduced a Winter Clothing Distribution Program. Every winter, we collect a variety of warm articles of clothing, ranging from jackets and sweaters, socks, gloves, hats, blankets; the list goes on. These clothes are then distributed to poverty-stricken families throughout several parts of the country, especially in roadsides, bus stops and stations, where the density of the poverty-afflicted population is higher. In this way we intend to make the harsh winter days a little more comfortable for the underprivileged people of our country.
