Rashmona Shonirvorota

A step towards self- sufficiency

At present, the vast majority of the underprivileged community of Bangladesh is comprised of youths. These young men and women are deprived of educational and training facilities, which causes them to fall behind in society. These impressionable youths are also at risk of exposure to un-ethical and illegal practices due to their joblessness and the immense poverty of their families. This not only results in deterioration of their overall living standards, but hampers the economic development of the community.

So, at the close of 2023, to help these youths progress in society, the founder of Rashmona introduced the “Rashmona Shonirvorota,” which provides completely free computer-based courses, including a basic computer literacy course, software designing courses, as well as training on digital marketing and freelancing. Rashmona Foundation has full faith that our programs will help these youths to develop as functioning members of the society, by finding better career choices, and creating better futures for themselves. As an added bonus, the program seeks to decrease the unemployment rates, crime rates as well as the employment rates of the non-formal service sector of the country, ultimately leading to economic advancement of Bangladesh. At present, these courses are being provided at Mirpur-10, Dhaka, with provision of our free, 4 month-long courses to around 20-25 underprivileged youths.
